Destination China

The US is the most popular destination for Chinese travellers. To encourage tourists from the US to make the reverse journey we helped the China National Tourism Office stage an event to celebrate China's unique heritage. Their idea was to focus on the astonishing number of UNESCO World Heritage sites found within China. We planned and produced the event, creating a wide range of content including presentations, film and dance. We also created an interactive touchscreen experience for the guests to delve deeper into China. Displayed within the room across four 80" screens, the web-based touchscreen application contained photos, audio and video of the 52 UNESCO sites. We aimed to immerse the audience in the beautiful landscapes, differing cultures and abundant history of China.
